I love this because it lets you keep a spare battery charged up without putting it into your phone/phablet for charging. It also protects the battery if you’re carrying it or traveling with it. There is a convenient LED that lights up red until the battery is done charging and then turns green when charging is complete.
For those who don’t know, one of the common habits people have that “kills” lithium chemistry rechargeable batteries (Li-ion and Li-poly) is charging your phone while it’s on. Worse still is plugging it in to charge while you’re using it because heat quickly reduces the usable life of your battery. This kit will allow you to save money by keeping your batteries running for a longer period of time since you no longer have to do either of those things.
This kit includes an official Samsung battery with NFC for the Galaxy Note 3 (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Standard Battery) as well as a micro USB 2.0 charger that plugs into the wall. The charger takes a micro USB 3.0 plug, but it will also work with micro USB (2.0/1.0) just like the Galaxy Note 3 itself.
The battery charger itself is approximately the size of 1.5 batteries stacked o n top of each other with a border of around 1cm on top and bottom. Note that this kit also comes with a small plastic case for the battery that is separate from the charger. It’s nice because it’s very slim and is basically the size of the battery.
Note: I purchased this from Amazon.com, not a third party seller. Cell phone batteries are commonly counterfeit, so please research any seller you aren’t familiar with before buying.

It came in the original Samsung packaging and includes a warranty letter inside as well. I love the travel case and can now use my Note 3 to my heart’s content without worrying about battery usage.
